Here’s How it Works
We are proud to offer a free pre-backup dance music service with one minimum dance music album purchase. Once you have made an order, you will be able to download the dance music in MP3 files (from the album that you purchased) via your DanceShopper account after 30 minutes from the time of your purchase.
To protect against abuse of our dance music MP3 offer, please be advised of the following conditions:
  • You must download the dance music files once only within 3 days, from the time your order is received in our system.
  • The dance music files will be limited to download to your primary PC and the dance music files are non-transferable.
  • Your CD Order cannot be cancelled once the dance MP3 files have been downloaded.
  • Exchange or return of properly delivered music CD/ CD’s is not allowed.
  • The pre-backup dance music download is not part of the sale and danceshopper.com does not offer additional support of the pre-back dance music files. If you have any difficulty in using your pre-backup dance music files, please wait until you have received your CD/ CD’s.
What file format does the music come in?
Our pre-backup dance tracks are offered in 128 kbps high-definition MP3 files.
How much disc space do I need?
The actual space may vary depending on the numbers of tracks on the album(s) that you have purchased. However, on average you should allow:
60~80 Megabyte (60~80 MB) for a single CD album and
120~160 Megabyte (120~160 MB) for double CD albums.
To find out how much disc space you have on your PC, double-click the "My Computer" icon, then right-click the hard drive (where you will store your music), and select 'Properties'.
Do I need a high speed internet connection?
No, but we highly recommend it. Using a dial-up connection could cause your music to download at a slower rate.
How long does it take to download a track?
Actual download times may vary depending on the length of the song, your system configuration, and Internet traffic. But on average, it takes:
Broadband (T1, DSL, ISDN, Cable Modem):
3~6 min for a single CD
6~12 min for a double CD
56 kbps modem:
20~30 min for a single CD
35~50 min for a double CD
Usage and Guidelines
Dance Music File Downloading, Transferring.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you intend to download your dance music from your primary computer (for example: your home computer) as the downloaded backup music files are non-transferable. As such, you cannot buy your music on one computer and then transfer your backup music files to a second computer.
Minimum System Requirements
What are the system requirements for using dance music downloads?
System Hardware
Pentium class PC computer running Windows.
Such as an Intel Pentium III or higher processor RAM - 128 megabytes (128B) or higher
Free Hard Disc Space - 100 MB PLUS 1 MB of memory per minute of downloaded music
Sound Card - Required: 16-bit sound card.
Internet connection - High speed highly recommended but not required.
Software
Internet browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer.
Windows Operating System Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition Windows XP or newer. Windows Media Player 9.0 or newer. Windows Media Player is available via a free download from Microsoft.
